afternoon seminars for the remainder of this school year.

Welcome to Riverside Unified School District's Beginning Teacher Support & Assessment Program.

As part of the fourteenth largest district in California, RUSD's BTSA Program offers opportunities

for fully prepared first and second year teachers to expand and deepen their teaching knowledge

and skill while meeting the requirements of their SB2042 preliminary credential. It provides a

smooth transition into the complex responsibilities of teaching, increases the retention of its participating teachers,

and improves learning for their K-12 students.

BTSA/Induction Program Goals:

Riverside Unified School District's BTSA Program is committed to providing an effective transition into teaching for

California's first and second year teachers and qualified out-of-state candidates. BTSA helps ensure professional

success by supporting participating teachers in addressing the needs of their culturally, linguistically, and academically

diverse classrooms.
