Participating Teacher/Support Provider Request for

Change of Assignment Procedures

The Riverside Unified School District BTSA/Induction Program strives to provide quality support for all Induction candidates.  If a Participating Teacher desires to change the Participating Teacher/Support Provider match, the following procedures should be followed:

§         The Participating Teacher or Support Provider communicates to the Induction Staff requesting a change of assignment;

§         The Program Director determines if a change is in the best interest of the Participating Teacher.

When this occurs, all efforts are made to ensure a smooth transition and minimal program interruption for the Participating Teacher and Support Provider.  Participating Teachers requesting a second change in Support Providers will be asked to attend a personal meeting with the Program Director.
